It is very important for you to care for your teeth, and there are several things you should avoid doing and consuming. Specifically, there are some drinks, such as sodas and other soft drinks, that you should avoid altogether. Fortunately, though, there are a number of healthy drinks you could consider replacing them with.

You probably know that you should avoid sodas. Similarly, some sugary juices could also be bad for your pearly whites. While you may think sport drinks are a good option, they are commonly made with high fructose corn syrup, dyes, and salt—meaning they’re actually very similar to soda.

One thing you could do is replace these harmful drinks with seltzer. In essence, seltzer is carbonated water, so if you enjoy bubbly drinks, this may be the option you could consider. Seltzers usually have zero grams of sugar, making it a healthier alternative. And best of all, you can find flavored seltzer as well.

There are other beverages that could help you replace sodas and juices. For instance, you could also choose kombucha, which is essentially a fermented tea. This useful beverage has many healthy enzymes and probiotics. Kombucha also has a great natural taste because it contains fruit puree.
